I am Susan Koch and come from Essen, the
city in the heart of the Ruhr area. My personal creative career began in my childhood.
I dedicate myself professionally with heart and soul to design for eleven years.
 
My motivation for communication design studies was based on the fact that this course
of studies offered many facets of the design, and on the other hand, during the period of my professional activity,

I learned the importance of good communi-cation in everyday life. Whether as a success factor for companies or in the social coexistence of everyday life - we all wish us a good communication.

In addition to studying, as a media designer,
I was able to expand my practical experience
as well as my knowledge by working with other people. Through my commercial and study works over the last two years I have found for me my strengths in the areas of brand- and interaction-design.
 
I have recognized the importance of developing a sensitivity to the interaction between the needs of a target group and the resulting functionalities of a design.

The focus is on the conceptual thinking ofmy work, because for me, because a good design is accompanied by a well thought-out concept. My interest in interdisciplinary design projects has been strengthened by my foreign semester at the University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg. There I studied B.A. MultiMediaArt for one semester. I was particularly exited about this course of studies, especially because of the very practice and international-oriented courses and project works. In addition, I focus on digital and analog media, in combination with methodological and experimental design.
